First Time Blog

This is the first time I have tried anything like this. I have been visiting other blogs from homeschooling to mom sites. I am not sure where this will lead, but thought I would give it a try. You may see more venting that any tips for others.

Right now homeschooling my son has been very frustrating and takes up most of my time. I guess I thought it would be easy with the Abeka DVD curriculum. It hasn't brought his grades down but getting him to pay attention for ANY length of time has been a fight. I give breaks, let him lie down anyway he wants, but when it is time to do seatwork or any written work, we start the fights. Mainly him shutting down and me ready to scream.

It's time to see if we can finish this day on a happy note. More later.
