Pineapple

A couple of months ago, Jim decided it would be fun to see if we could grow a pineapple. He chopped off the top and dried it. Then told me to put it in a glass cup with water and try to root it. Well, that was 2 mths ago. The roots did grow (I didn't get a picture) and were longer that the size of the cup, so I went to the internet to see what was next. I found a great site that shows step by step how he grew pineapples. We are in Stage 4, plant the crown. I did this last weekend and now we wait. Here are some pictures of the start of our planting.
