The Week has Flown!!!

Well, this week has flown by. We (at the Ranch) were without phone or Internet for 2 days. It came back up late on Monday. Tuesday my Dad and I drove to Bmt to check out the house. It looks pretty good. We did have some water come in the back door and kitchen wall. There were no windows broken or other rain damage in the rest of the house. I cleaned the fridge while Dad did the Deep freezer. A friend had removed all the meat so I only had to deal with the juices, and condiments that were left. The Fridge is now open and fresh smelling. We turned off the main breaker so that when, and if, the electricity comes on it won't cool the house. We also exchanged vehicles while there. I put the Tahoe in the garage for Jim to use when he gets back and took the Prius back to the Ranch. Wednesday Chad and I did school, Thursday Mom had appointments in Houston so Chad and I went out to lunch in Brenham then a trip to Walmart. Today I took the Prius to the Toyota dealership to have the tires rotated. Jim flies home this evening. He will go to Beaumont and stay. His shop has electricity. We plan to stay here at least another week. They say we will have electricity by Oct. 6th!!!!
