I can't believe that it has been a year since I last updated this blog. Alot has happened. Jim came back to the states in March.
Chad and I went with him after Easter to spend a couple of weeks in California. We had a retreat at Disney World with the unit Jim was deployed with.
They had a special dinner for the adults and we got to meet Gary Sinise.
After 2 fun filled days at Disney, we traveled to Calico Ghost Town near Barstow CA.
We then headed to Bear Mountain and learned to ski. Chad really enjoyed it, I didn't. :(
We made a quick trip down Hollywood Blvd,
then went to SeaWorld.
Chad and I then flew home while Jim finished his deployment in CA. He came back to TX in May. Then in July his unit in Ft. Worth went to Hawaii for two weeks, of course Jim went too. He then spent a month in Bahrain on temporary duty. Since November he has been home except for drill weekends. December's drill also included a Navy Dining Out.
We finished out the year having Christmas at the Ranch with all the kids and grandkids together.
